Saddam Hussain, an alumnus of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), London, and BNA Lucknow, is an actor and mentor known for blending Stanislavsky’s system with Uta Hagen’s influence, creating a contemporary yet rooted approach to performance. His journey spans from Delhi’s street theatre to international stages, with acclaimed roles in Three Sisters, Mother Courage and Her Children, Prometheus Bound at the Ancient Messene Festival, Amreeka at London’s Coronet Festival, and Her-Him-Someone at Bloomsbury Theatre. He recently collaborated with BAFTA-winning director Hassan Akkad in a short film, while his stage work with the Auroville Theatre Group and BNA showcased his versatility in classics like King Lear and Andha Yug. Beyond performance, Saddam mentors actors globally, training talent for projects such as Shenpenn Khymsar’s upcoming Hollywood film and Lin Fengzhu’s Japanese production. He now also contributes his expertise as an Actors’ Mentor at The Art Circle Productions, guiding performers to discover their craft and their soul, embodying his commitment to nurturing talent and storytelling across cultures.
