Neeraj Kabi

Neeraj Kabi is a transformative actor, theatre director, and mentor whose artistry has left an indelible mark on contemporary Indian performance. Celebrated for his international breakthrough in Ship of Theseus (2012), he has embodied unforgettable characters in films such as Talvar (2015), Hichki (2018), Gali Guleiyan (2018), Sherni (2021), Monsoon Shootout (2013), Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! (2015), The Hungry (2017), Once Again (2018), Raahgir – The Wayfarers (2019), Laal Kaptaan (2019), Line of Descent (2019), Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga (2022), Sita Ramam (2022), Neeyat (2023), Sam Bahadur (2023), and Ek Ruka Hua Faisla (2024). As the founder and artistic director of Pravah Theatre Laboratory, Kabi has created a sanctuary where traditional Indian performing arts converse with contemporary theatre, guiding actors to explore depth, vulnerability, and authenticity in their craft. He is now an integral part of India’s first community-driven production house, The Art Circle Productions, collaborating as an Acting Mentor to awaken the voices of emerging performers, nurturing their souls through stage and screen, and inspiring them to tell stories that resonate with truth, courage, and artistry.
