Hemant Kher

Hemant Kher is an accomplished actor, writer, and acting mentor who has made a significant mark across theatre, cinema, and digital storytelling. A graduate of the National School of Drama (NSD), New Delhi, he is widely celebrated for his nuanced performance as Ashwin Mehta in the acclaimed series Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story, which earned him critical acclaim and the Gujarati Mid Day Award for Most Versatile Actor. His filmography includes impactful roles in Notebook (2019), Unpaused (2020), Shadow Assassins (2022), Parchaaiyaan (2023), School of Lies (2023), and Vanvaas (2024). Alongside his work on screen, Hemant has also guided and mentored aspiring actors through popular reality shows like India’s Best Dramebaaz and films such as Mitron and Notebook. Now, he is also part of India’s first community-driven production house, The Art Circle Productions, where he continues to shape the future of storytelling by blending his artistry with mentorship.
